Feather shrinking machine
The felt shrinking machine is mainly composed of a moisture supply device, a heating device, a circulating felt feeding roller, a tenter device, a large and small drying cylinder and a cloth in and out device, as shown in Figure 9-7.
After the wet fabric is stretched by the tenter device, it is flat and tightly attached to the outer surface of the felt in a loose state. The felt is wrapped on the small-diameter feeding roller, and the outer surface is elongated. ; Then it is turned to cover the large drying cylinder with the opposite curvature. The surface of the stretched felt shrinks, and the fabric close to the felt is also forced to shrink, playing a pre-shrinking effect. Due to the moisture content of the fabric, the hot pressing of the electric heating shoe and the fabric being pressed against the surface of the large drying drum by the felt, the plasticity of the fabric is improved, which is beneficial to improving the pre-shrinking effect of the fabric. The fabric is pressed against the surface of the hot drying cylinder by the felt and is dried during operation to achieve the purpose of stable pre-shrinkage.
The fabric operation process is: Dry cloth feeding on the cloth feeding rack → Moistening by spray → Moistening by steam → Pre-drying in a single drying cylinder → Tenturing with short cloth clips → Pre-shrinking of two groups of felts → Dropping.
The shrinkage rate of fabrics finished by this pre-shrinking machine can be reduced to less than 1%. For different shrinkage requirements of fabrics, it is necessary to replace cloth feeding rollers of different diameters and felts of different thicknesses.
