Recently, the Shaoxing Textile Industry Association announced the 2022 Shaoxing City Textile Industry Top 100 Ranking and the 2022 Shaoxing City Textile Trade Top 30 Ranking. A total of 67 companies in our district are on the top 100 list, and 25 companies are among the top 30 textile trade companies. The status of a large textile region and a strong textile region is further demonstrated.
It is understood that the ranking of the top 100 textile industries in Shaoxing is mainly based on the sales (operating) income of enterprises in 2021. Among them, 4 companies including “Tiansheng Chemical Fiber”, “Hengming Chemical Fiber”, “Tianma Industrial” and “Yingfeng Co., Ltd.” entered the top 10, “Juxing Chemical Fiber”, “Baofang Printing and Dyeing”, “Huamao Chemical Fiber”, “Tongsheng Printing and Dyeing”, etc. Companies followed closely behind and entered the top 20. In the list of the top 30 textile trade companies, 25 companies including “Cloth Trading” and “Vantes Trading” entered the top 30 textile trade.
The textile industry has always been Keqiao’s traditional pillar industry. Over the years, Keqiao Textile Industry has formed a modern textile industry system ranging from chemical fiber, weaving, printing and dyeing, home textiles to trade. The complete industrial chain allows Keqiao textile companies to account for most of the top 100 companies in this list. In particular, the “printing and dyeing + market” has always been the “two wings” of the booming development of Keqiao’s textile industry. It gathers one-third of the country’s printing and dyeing production capacity and a quarter of the world’s textile product transactions.
In recent years, in order to further enhance the traditional textile printing and dyeing industry, Keqiao has actively led textile enterprises to develop towards high quality. Green and low-carbon, technological innovation, fashion wisdom, etc. have become key words for the development of the industry. With the joint efforts of government and enterprises, the industrial foundation has been further consolidated, opening up to the outside world has been further demonstrated, fashion innovation has been further improved, high-quality talents and projects have been further implemented, and the momentum of traditional industries has been further enhanced.
In 2021, the printing and dyeing industry in Keqiao District performed well. The total output value exceeded 50 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 50.076 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%; the added value was 19.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%. In 2021, China Textile City’s market cluster achieved a turnover of 233.888 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.12%. The China Textile City’s online transaction volume reached 70.168 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.59%. The “online and offline” markets of China Textile City achieved a turnover exceeded 300 billion yuan.
This year, our district will continue to anchor the new positioning and new goals of “International Textile City”, focus on building a world-class modern textile industry cluster, and promote all-round development in accordance with the direction of “green high-end, world-leading” Rebuild the industrial base; focus on building an international China Textile City and “go global” with greater efforts; focus on creating a source of fashion innovation, actively attract first-class fashion design institutions and fashion talents, lead fashion trends, and promote the transformation of fashion achievements . At the same time, policies such as stabilizing growth and helping enterprises to bail out are fully implemented to ensure the steady progress and quality improvement of the industrial economy.
