Tangshan: In early July, rainfall occurred in the Tangshan area of Hebei Province. The rainfall was heavier in the north and lighter in the south. Since cotton planting was mainly concentrated in the southern area, the rainfall did not cause Flooding in cotton fields. Up to now, the average height of local cotton plants is 80-100 cm, with 8-10 fruit branches per plant. Currently, cotton farmers will carry out topping work based on the growth of cotton plants, and it is expected that the topping work will last until late July. At present, cotton is growing well, but there are a few aphids breeding in some cotton fields. Cangzhou: From late June to early July, rainfall occurred in the Cangzhou area of Hebei Province, which greatly alleviated the early drought problem in cotton fields and facilitated the growth of cotton plants. The local cotton plant height is about 70 centimeters, and a small number of cotton buds have bloomed. The main work in the near future is to repair tree branches, spray pesticides and eliminate insects.
