On July 18, in the cotton field of Kumuluke Village (Village 3), Aqiale Town, Keping County, technicians from the County Agricultural Technology Extension Center were analyzing the cotton situation with the villagers. Technicians explained the essentials of cotton pest and disease prevention to cotton farmers, and everyone discussed in depth how to manage cotton and other related issues. Litip Rekepu, a farmer in Kumuluke Village (Village 3), said: “I planted 30 acres of cotton this year, and the cotton is growing very well. Currently, field management work such as topping and spraying pesticides is being carried out in the cotton fields.
