From August 29th to 30th, the 2022 Zhejiang Textile Equipment Innovation Forum was held in Xinchang. This forum is guided by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, hosted by the Provincial Textile Engineering Society, and hosted by the Xinchang County People’s Government and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Xinchang Research Institute. The special action of “Helping Thousands of Enterprises”, the “One County, One Industry, One Society” and the “Light of Hope” combined talent assistance group and other activities, based on the scale advantages of the textile industry cluster in Zhejiang Province and the specific needs of the textile industry in various places, give full play to the society’s Expert talents and platform advantages have carried out a series of fruitful work in cross-border integration and resource sharing, alleviating the problem of lack of textile technology and human resources at the grassroots level.
Wu Chuanyu said that he hopes to take this meeting as an opportunity to continue to deeply integrate resources from all parties in the field of textile equipment and intelligent manufacturing, strengthen cooperation between industry, academia, and research, build an innovative path for cross-border integration, and enhance Zhejiang Province. The technological innovation capabilities and core competitiveness of relevant enterprises in the field of textile machinery and intelligent equipment jointly promote the high-quality development of the textile industry in Zhejiang Province.
The theme of this forum is “Green Development of Intelligent Manufacturing”. At the meeting, the unveiling ceremony and appointment ceremony of the Textile Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing Committee of the Zhejiang Textile Engineering Society were held, and a number of relevant industry experts were invited to give cutting-edge reports, and representatives from many leading textile machinery companies gave case presentations.
The participating experts and scholars also went to Zhejiang Rifa Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. and Dali Silk (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. to carry out the “Ten Thousand Experts Help Thousands of Enterprises” activities.
Xinchang County is an important advanced manufacturing base in the country and one of the national textile machinery production bases. The industrial system is relatively complete. As early as 2001, it was named a national new textile machinery production base by the China Textile Industry Association. In 2020, Xinchang Intelligent Equipment Town became the first county-level national scientific and technological achievements transformation service demonstration base in the country, and the leader in the “per-acre benefit” of provincial-level characteristic towns. Digital textile machinery will be the focus of the future development of Xinchang County and the entire industry. This forum held in Xinchang will also effectively promote the innovative development of Xinchang’s equipment manufacturing industry.
