In response to the unfavorable situation of continued high temperature and drought in this summer and autumn, high incidence of mulberry diseases and insect pests, frequent use of pesticides on crops, and many hidden dangers to the safety of autumn silkworm production, the Municipal Sericulture Center requires: Strengthen service guidance and make every effort to do a good job in autumn silkworm production throughout the process Technical service work; strengthen anti-virus security, create a strong atmosphere of anti-virus security and safe production through publicity, coordination, notification, reminder, supervision and other methods; strengthen the prevention and control of silkworm diseases, starting from the joint breeding of young silkworms, and implement various disease prevention measures Measures: Strengthen the prevention and control of mulberry insects, focusing on mulberry borers, and adopt methods such as manual capture and regional zoning to control pests to reduce the base number of pests in mulberry fields, improve the yield and quality of mulberry leaves, and ensure high quality, high yield and efficiency of autumn silkworms. The meeting made suggestions on the acquisition of Qiu Yu by Minxing Company. This year, nearly 80,000 autumn silkworm seeds are expected to be produced in the city. The harvest and breeding of autumn silkworms will begin on September 2 and will be available at the end of September.
