On November 21, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a list of the top 100 textile and apparel brands to be cultivated (2022 version), identifying 124 brands as key cultivation targets, including 53 consumer brands, 54 manufacturing brands, and 17 regional brands. “Xiantao Non-Woven Fabric” was selected into the list of regional brands.
In recent years, our city has continued to increase the visibility and influence of “China’s Famous Nonwovens Industry City” by focusing on the production capacity upgrade, structural upgrade and brand upgrade of the nonwovens industry. The number of enterprises has grown from 1,000 to more than 3,000, and the number of enterprises above designated size has reached 172. The number of production lines has increased to more than 120, and the annual output has expanded to more than 900,000 tons. The number of enterprises holding “two certificates” for medical devices has increased to 92, and the number of enterprises holding medical device certificates has increased to 92. The number of certified enterprises ranks first in the province. Through activities such as e-commerce live broadcasts and epidemic prevention material donations, the regional public brand influence of “Xiantao Nonwovens” continues to increase. At the same time, our city has fully implemented the “one enterprise, one trademark” project, and currently has registered more than 500 domestic trademarks and 3 EU trademarks. There are 283 nonwovens companies with export performance in the city, and 159 companies have obtained CE and FDA qualifications and were included in the “white list” of the Ministry of Commerce. Xiantao nonwovens products are sold at home and abroad.
