The sericulture cooperatives in the other three villages are still directly operated by the village collectives, but improvements have been made in sericulture technology and operation and maintenance efficiency, and the yield and quality of silkworm cocoons have been significantly improved. That year, 360 silkworms were raised in the town, and the sales of silkworm cocoons were nearly 900,000 yuan, benefiting more than 300 farmers, achieving a win-win situation for the cooperative, the large contracting households, and the farmers who invested shares.
The substantial increase in the scale of sericulture has laid a solid foundation for the creation of the entire sericulture industry chain. 2022 is the first year that Jiaxiangyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. settled in Tiefosi Town, and it has achieved good results at the beginning.
