If precipitation is moderate later this year, sunshine is normal, and there are no other obvious natural disasters, it is expected that Yutai County’s cotton production in 2023 may be equivalent to the production in normal years in previous years, and will increase compared to last year. Among them, the expected output of the main product is 96.73 kg/mu, a year-on-year increase of 3.71%.
Increase in production costs
The estimated cotton production cost in 2023 is 2608.16 yuan/mu, a year-on-year increase of 0.78%. The rising costs were mainly chemical fertilizer fees, which were 351.73 yuan/mu, a year-on-year increase of 5.62%.
Increase in cash income
The current market expectations for new cotton prices this year are stable, cotton seed prices are stable and strengthening, and cotton cash income is expected in 2023 There will be an increase compared to last year.
