The “Research and Application of Reactive Dyes Low-alkali Dyeing Technology” jointly completed by Zhejiang Yichuang Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology recently passed the provincial identification.
This technology replaces traditional soda ash with stabilizer and caustic soda. As a fixing alkali agent for reactive dyes, it is still the first in China. It is understood that using this technology adds an average of 0.2 yuan per meter of cloth, and saves nearly 50 yuan per meter of cloth dyeing cost per cylinder.
Dyeing plants need to add a large amount of soda ash for fixing during the dyeing process. Not only does it cost high to produce, it also has serious waste of energy and water resources, causing serious pollution to the environment. “Zhejiang Yichuang” established a research team for related projects to carry out technical research, with a total investment of 1.5 million yuan. Based on the determination of the plan, the development and research of stabilizer, the samples of the dyeing process and a series of indicator tests, Obtaining the actual data, the company purchased more than 17,000 meters of fabric for experiments, and finally found a dyeing method with a small dose of caustic soda and stabilizer. This method can make the dye even and the product quality is more stable. Moreover, the amount of alkali is one-quarter of conventional dyeing, and the use of alkali per cylinder saves 25 yuan. Due to the reduction of alkali consumption, the washing time is greatly shortened, the water consumption is reduced, and the alkali content in the sewage is reduced, which is conducive to environmental protection.
At present, our county’s annual printing and dyeing processing capacity has reached 12 billion meters. Among the textiles exported to the EU and the United States, most of the textiles such as sticky, cotton, brocade and other blended textiles are used, and this technology happens to be used in sticky, cotton, brocade fabrics. By promoting this technology, the county can save 33 million yuan in one year, and the social and economic benefits are huge.
