An Austrian technology company recently announced the launch of an integrated solar energy collection system REMULES (RenewableMobileUltraLightEnergySystem, portable ultra-light renewable energy system). Because of the use of carbon fiber as a production material, the system has excellent maneuverability and safety performance and is expected to be welcomed by the military and humanitarian relief organizations.
The use of carbon fiber gives designers great freedom in design while greatly reducing the weight of each component. The system has a single net weight of 190kg and can be easily transported by only four people. One person can complete the installation and erection within 10 minutes. It is also suitable for airdrops without being damaged.
In addition, due to the use of advanced integrated dual-axis sun tracking technology, it is the most efficient solar energy capture system in the world, capturing 40% more solar energy than existing fixed-installed solar collectors, with a peak power of 2KMP.
During the development process, REMULES received technical support from many aviation manufacturing companies in Austria and Germany, as well as help from government agencies and international organizations such as the Austrian Ministry of Defense and the International Red Cross.
