The children’s clothing within the scope of this recall does not meet the limits of pH value and formaldehyde content stipulated in the national standard “National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products” (GB 18401-2010) due to excessive pH value and formaldehyde content. Too high a pH value in clothing can cause irritation to human skin, causing erythema, wheals, and varying degrees of itching; excessive formaldehyde content can cause clothing to gradually release free formaldehyde during wearing, which can pass through the human respiratory tract, eyes, and Skin contact can easily induce other diseases, and the product may have safety hazards.
