Maintenance and management of heald rods

1. Maintenance of the heald rods
(1) Handle the heald frames and heald rods that have been machined down, handle them with care, and transport them properly back to the reed room.
(2) After starting the machine, clean the heald rod to remove any debris on it.
(3) The harness rod should be coated with car wax or floor wax to increase lubrication and prevent rust.
(4) Heald penetration rods should be inspected according to specified quality standards, and unqualified heald penetration rods should be replaced at any time.
(5) Mark the heald frames that have been put through the heald rods after being sorted so that they can be sorted first and used first to avoid being stored for too long.
2. Treatment of Heddle Rods
1. Incoming Factory Inspection
The matching rods on the heald frame must be inspected randomly or one by one and inspected according to the following items.
(1) Check whether the J-shaped or C-shaped heald rod is firmly riveted. The rivet tail should not be higher than the plane of the heald rod after grinding.
(2) After the J-shaped or C-shaped heddle rod is rolled and riveted, the surface of the heddle rod should be straight, and no distortion or bow shape is allowed.
(3) Use a ruler to check the main dimensions of the heald rod to see if they meet the standards.
(4) Check whether the surface of the heald rod is flat and clean, and whether there are burrs, cracks, edges and distortions.
2. Warehouse management
(1) When entering the warehouse, count the number of supporting connecting rods.
(2) Place the heald rods flatly in a ventilated warehouse and should be high off the ground. Each bundle of heald rods should not be stacked too high to prevent deformation and rust.
(3) Different heald rods should be stacked separately.
(4) When shipping, the principle of first in storage, first in delivery should be followed.
(5) Conduct regular inspections.
3. Operation management
(1) Formulate and implement maintenance quality standards, maintenance quality inspection system, quality responsibility system and zoning responsibility system, and formulate and implement the acceptance system for heald rods in the design workshop and weaving workshop.
(2) Make clear regulations on worn or broken heald rods, and repair and scrap them in accordance with the regulations.
(3) Every time you get off the machine, check the supporting conditions of the heald rods, clean and reorganize them. If you find that the heald rods are abnormally worn or broken, you should immediately trace the cause and make corrections.
(4) Heddle rods with different specifications and varieties cannot be mixed. The heald frames after finishing the heddle rods should be placed on a flat shelf.
(5) Equipped with a reasonable turnover volume. If the turnover volume is too large, it will cause backlog and waste; if the turnover volume is too small, inspection and maintenance cannot be carried out on a regular basis.
4. The amount of heald drawing rods
can be calculated by the following formula:
The number of heald drawing rods = the number of heald frames used in each loom × the number of looms × (1+20%)
5. The annual graded consumption level of heddling rods
is shown in Table 6-3.
