The high-temperature and high-pressure scouring machine is a device that performs silk scouring (around 120℃) in a high-pressure-resistant (1.013×105Pa) container.
It is very suitable for scouring heavy, strongly twisted silk fabrics. It can ensure uniform degumming of silk fabrics and reduce defects such as gray damage. When strong-twisted and heavy silk fabrics are conventionally hung, the temperature of the liquid is relatively low (98-100°C) and the time is long (4-6 hours), which can easily lead to uneven degumming of the warp and weft yarns, resulting in over-scouring or over-scouring of the warp yarns. Defects such as incomplete weft degumming.
The square closed refining kettle is the main body of the high-temperature and high-pressure refining machine. It consists of a sealing cover, a heating device and a temperature control system, as shown in Figure 10-12.
The maximum operating pressure of the scouring kettle is 196kPa (2kgf/cm2), and the temperature of the scouring liquid can reach 130℃. Direct steam and indirect steam heating methods are used to heat the liquid. The scouring liquid in the scouring kettle can be circulated, and the cooling method is to force the addition of cold water to directly cool down. The disadvantage is that the fabric will be disordered when it comes out of the kettle due to forced cooling.
