What is flame retardant fabric?
Flame-retardant fabrics use chemical additives or phosphorus molecules to make the fabric ignite and naturally extinguish. “Flame retardant” does not mean not burning, but reduces the spread and burning speed of fire and prevents secondary combustion from causing greater losses. The flame retardancy of chemical additive post-treatment and original yarn is more durable than flame retardancy.
Currently, flame retardant fabrics on the market are divided into three categories:

Post-processing is a one-time flame retardant. The flame retardant effect is achieved by adding a disposable flame retardant finishing agent. The open flame will automatically extinguish within 1-3 seconds; however, the flame retardant function will be lost after washing once;
Disposable flame retardant means using ordinary fabric cloth for post-processing, that is, soaking it in potion to make the fabric non-flammable. But the problem is
1. It is not resistant to washing. It will no longer be flame retardant after being washed once, so it is called disposable flame retardant. 2. The post-processed fabric cannot reach the national standard B1 level, so it will fail if the acceptance inspection is strict.
3. Because the post-processing is soaked in potion, the hand feels very bad and hard.
4. The fabric soaked in the medicine will be volatile, and harmful substances will evaporate after hanging, causing a pungent smell.

The post-treatment is wash-resistant and flame-retardant. The flame-retardant effect is achieved by adding a wash-resistant flame-retardant finishing agent. It has a certain resistance to washing. The flame-retardant effect changes with the increase in the number of washings. Comply with: GB17591-2006 flame retardant fabric B1 level standard. (Test: damage length ≤ 150mm, afterburning time ≤ 5s, smoldering time ≤ 5s); it can withstand washing for 30 times without losing the flame retardant function; but the flame retardant performance will be reduced.

The yarn is permanently flame-retardant and is woven with flame-retardant fiber. No matter how many times it is washed, its flame-retardant function will never be lost. Comply with: GB20286-2006 flame retardant level 1. (Test: Oxygen index ≥ 32, damage length ≤ 150mm, afterburning time ≤ 5s, smoldering time ≤ 5s, burning drippings will cause burning or smoldering of absorbent cotton, smoke density level (SDR) ≤ 15, smoke toxicity level Not lower than ZA2).
