In the development zone, Xinjiang Herunjinlan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. relies on scientific and technological means to turn cottonseed, which once could only be extracted for oil, into high-efficiency cottonseed protein, which has become animal husbandry fattening and high-end aquatic feed. . According to the person in charge of the company, the company has obtained more than ten patented technologies in the field of cottonseed protein processing. Its main products are cottonseed protein with a content of more than 65%, rumen-passed cottonseed protein and full-ester dephenolized cottonseed protein. Since the first phase of the project was fully completed and started trial production in November last year, more than 20,000 tons of cotton protein have been produced from January to April this year and sold to markets outside Xinjiang. The annual output value is expected to be 500 million yuan.
The extension of the industrial chain continues. It is reported that the second phase of the Herun Jinlan project plans to invest 500 million yuan to build a 5,000 tons/year raffinose and 100,000 tons/year small peptide production line; the third phase plans to invest 200 million yuan to build a 30 tons/year gossypol production line. After the project reaches full capacity, it can achieve an annual output value of 4 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 700 million yuan, and provide employment for 500 people.
Xinjiang Baizheng Cotton Spinning Co., Ltd., which is busy with orders and production, integrates cotton processing, cotton seed processing and spinning. At present, the company’s 100,000-spindle combed compact spinning and 50,000-spindle open-end spinning production lines are all in operation. The production technology and product quality have reached the leading level in the industry. The products are sold to Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu and other provinces.
“Based on the existing spinning in the development zone, our next plan is to support leading enterprises in expanding production capacity, working intensively in the cotton industry chain, and developing more high value-added products.” Kuitun-Dushanzi Economy Zhao Hao, deputy director of the Economic and Social Development Bureau of the Technology Development Zone, said that there are currently more than 10 large and small textile enterprises in the development zone’s textile industry, including 3 large-scale enterprises, with a production capacity of 1.8 million ring spinning spindles and 3,240 open-end spinning. In the future, the cotton industry chain in the development zone will expand the proportion of high-end blended products and produce high-quality yarn products; accelerate the development of high-count combed yarn, develop multi-fiber blended fabrics, interwoven fabrics, jacquard fabrics and other high value-added products to provide downstream weaving services , clothing and home textiles provide high-end raw materials.
