In the cotton planting base of Dadixi Village, Daodongbao Town, Cheng’an County , farmers are busy sowing cotton, and several precision film-laying seeders are operating in an orderly manner. The four processes of sowing, film-laying, drip irrigation laying, and herbicide spraying are carried out simultaneously.
Person in charge of the Cotton Planting Base of Dadixi Village, Daodongbao Town, Cheng’an County Wang Zhentang said, “Now is the critical period for sowing cotton. This year, I have planted more than 1,500 acres of cotton, all using the machine-picking mode and planting with equal row spacing of 76 centimeters, realizing full mechanization of cotton planting.”
